Services

  • Prenatal Massage

Pregnancy massage focuses on the care and support of women throughout their prenatal experience. Pregnancy can place an extra challenge on your body, especially if there were pre-existing concerns. Massage therapy is a safe, effective solution for moms and mom’s-to-be who are experiencing the effects of increased demands on a changing body. Prenatal massage is a customized treatment tailored to the unique needs of each woman, with specific modifications made to ensure both comfort and safety.

  • Postpartum Massage

Childbirth and being new to motherhood can leave you feeling exhausted both mentally and physically. The benefits of massage therapy don’t end when your baby is born! Postpartum massage can begin as soon as 5 days and extend for the first 16 weeks after giving birth. It can help with recovery, sleep deprivation and emotional well-being.

  • Therapeutic Massage

Experience the relief of muscle tension and pain, while increasing relaxation. This treatment is typically a deeper massage, custom designed for your areas of muscle soreness and tension.

  • Infant Massage

    Infant Massage

Infant massage supports growth & development, bonding & attachment, and improves sleep quality for baby. A gentle massage with a nurturing touch can help ease baby's discomforts. It is also excellent for children requiring extra support, including prematurely born babies, babies of multiples and/or babies born addicted.

Our classes incorporate the RMT massaging baby as well as we teach parents/caregivers how to incorporate nurturing touch safely into babies daily routine.

  • Labour Support

Enhance the birthing experience, regardless of having a natural birth or using medications to help with the pain. We have been trained as Doula’s to provide continuous, one-on-one care, as well as information, emotional and physical support to the birthing person and their partner. A Doula is also commonly known as a Labour Support Person/Birthing Coach. Through reassurance, encouragement, and praise, we help the birthing person maintain a sense of control, comfort and confidence. During labour, we can apply counter pressure and other massage therapy techniques to provide comfort and pain relief. Call or email to book!

  • Menopause Support

Building a community of support for perimenopausal, menopausal and postmenopausal women. This treatment is focused on their care and support throughout this transitional experience. The hormone changes during menopause can be particularly significant and often lead to a variety of many unwanted symptoms. Massage therapy is a safe, effective solution for persons who are experiencing the effects of the increased demands on a changing body. Menopause massage is focused on reducing stress, managing your symptoms and overall improving your quality of life during menopause.

Hi! I’m Stacey Adam, Registered Massage Therapist, and owner of St. Catharines Prenatal Massage.

My mission is pretty simple: MAKING YOUR PREGNANT BODY FEEL BETTER!

I’ve been a massage therapist since 2002, and have always felt a strong pull to serve pregnant women. I want them to get comfortable for once, feel honoured and respected as their bodies change, and to be truly supported throughout their pregnancy.

I have both studied and taught pregnancy massage and infant massage. In addition to having two children of my own, I have experience as a labour support doula. In addition, I am also a menopause support doula.

As an experienced massage therapist for prenatal and postpartum care, my goal is to help women feel good, hurt less, and sleep better. I have the proper equipment and knowledge to confidently handle high-risk and low-risk pregnancies.

I love how it feels to witness the true strength of women through the beautiful journey of motherhood.

I look forward to meeting you!
